I would not put much faith in what CBS says and what the Palm Beach County Commission does. From 2019-2023, 7 of the 8 County Commissioners were Democrats. County assessors etc. are appointed by the the commission. It is also a fact the County is 60% white...

Since taxes are based on assessments, I can see why Trump and his accountants would happily agree to pay taxes on a $21 million property instead of 100times that!

There is never any time the news we see today can be looked at as reality no matter which party puts it out.
