    Real Politics

I just watched our local AZ political show with John Hook who used to be part of the Hook and Lake (Kari) team. Kari is a crazy but John Hook is a rock. Always level headed and knows what he has to do. Most of his job is handling interviews with people in politics. So, he just did a shot with Adrian Fortes. He is our secretary of state. He's a democrat and he admits it. What a sharp dude. His subject was elections. It dwelled on "stolen" elections. It went into depth: It mentioned the hard work volunteers put into it. He stated that these people are your neighbors, your retired cops and school teachers. They deserve some respect. OK, can anything be worked? Yes, but the the tech involved (that he described in depth somewhat) is impressive. He said the word conspiracy. To me conspiracy always means nonsense. If you want to talk to pot heads about Martians fine, don't carry it over to the real world. People get on board with weird knowledge and attitudes and stick with it. It's dumb. Don't keep repeating the same stupid thing that you saw on the net over and over. Does that make me liberal? Guess again.

Kari may be a bit crazy, but she's cute which beats crazy - in my book.

Paper ballots, in person voting with photo ID: eliminates all the conspiracy concerns. Jay Valentine wrote Ebay's fraud detection program and has written about how mail balloting is essential to election fraud.

Exactly right. I was an Election Commissioner for ten years. The lack of security would be laughable if it weren't so serious. We proved election fraud over and over, but we couldn't get prosecution. If there is no prosecution, there is no fraud.

That would work but a person might not be in the place were they are registered to vote during the election as people are all over the country at the time! That's one of the reasons why vote by mail came into play.

BS.... you can go to the courthouse weeks in advance and vote. Voting by mail is a total scam. You could not vote by mail for 200 years for a reason!

Voting is such a essential part of a free society, you should be willing to take a fooking day off to vote.

Double BS. First of all you can always request an absentee ballot.

This is like the old Democrat scam, "You can't require picture IDs because poor people can't get picture IDs."

Hmm. They can get picture IDs to open the bank accounts they need so their welfare checks can be deposited. They can get picture IDs to buy alcohol and tobacco. They can get picture IDs to pick up prescriptions for controlled drugs.

Most democrats also have their mug shots on record at the local prisons and police departments.

Democrats oppose voter ID because they'd have to photograph all those grave markers.

And the same photo would appear on hundreds, maybe thousands of ballots.

That used to be true -- Which is why they defunded the police and quit prosecuting criminals.
