So who was locked in their Home during Pandemic ? ...

I keep seeing comments about how the populace was
in lockdown for two years in order to combat the Covid.
Following is an excerpt from an article"

"It?s just that easy to manipulate stupid people these days. We were manipulated into being locked into our homes for two years without any videos or evidence of a threat. Can you imagine how easy it?ll be to manipulate you with the use of video and photos like this? "

I was never "locked in my home" at any time. I went out
whenever I wished as did others where I live. I never wore
a mask except when needed in order to enter a Store.
So who exactly was "Locked in" and where ? or is it just
a case of Press hyperbole ?

Mostly press hyperbole, it was more of a lock out as in places you couldn't go like schools, or seating restrictions in restaurants and such. Even that varied a lot by state. Here after the first few months of panic wore off things opened up a lot. There were a few businesses here in Texas, mostly out of town, that actually prohibited the wearing of masks if you entered and nobody said anything.

Early 2020 our County Public Health Officer threatened to close down all businesses in the county if the vaccination rate didn't hit X%;only reason I got jabbed. In 1918 the county was quarantined; rail station out east at the base of the pass was used; sheriff shot one guy for refusing to comply. Barry's 'The Great Influenza'. She tried to ban then quarantine all out of county visitors (second homeowners) and residents who had been away but lawyers got involved.

Sound like more over-reach to me.

I got jabbed for one reason and one reason only: my wife. She plays the blame game. If we had become sick (or worse) it would have been all my fault for not getting the vax.

I told her on the way to the clinic: "this is your vaccination--just my arm". As said before, 4 days afterward I paid the price with 2 or 3 sleepless nights squirming on the floor in agony and convulsions due to a severe reaction to the poison in my body.

          Never did get the vax.
My Doctor offered it - I said no.
Thought six months not enough time to fully test.
