    Illinois Assult weapons ban

The appeals court has let the ban stand. That is all the info I saw on a trailer at the bottom of the TV screen.
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

    Stupid, as you would expect.

Illinois needs to issue an assalt people ban and enforce laws already on the books.

The bans and the overturns remind me of "Wack a Mole"

Back in the 1980s my next door neighbor was trans porting a bow to somebody in IL that had purchased it. He got stopped for speeding by a IL State Trooper. He got a warning ticket for speeding but he was ticketed for carrying a bow not in a case. When the driver said WHAT??? The cop said We do not want anybody to get hurt if it goes off by accident.

Believe it or not it is 100% true.

He must have been carrying Alec Baldwin's bow.

I find that hard to believe. Sounds more like a joke.

WebNov 25, 2017 ? In Illinois a bow or gun must be unloaded and in a case, or made inoperable, while being transported in a vehicle. I have been told that also applied to ATV's. The case can be something as simple as a cloth bag ?

IL is the definition of AFU.
