Or grew up speaking it, vs 'Murican.
Dim,distant memories of grammar suggest Council on American Islamic Relations and Council on Islamic American Relations have different meanings.
The former makes American culture subordinate to Islam, the latter means Islam adapts to American mores.
Any opinions?

Muslims do not adapt. There are those that gets along with civilization but still hate and would kill every non Muslim on planet earth.
