    First woman appointed as CNO, to sit on the Joint Chiefs

    Discussing this with a cousin, seems to be little interest and commentary. The Navy missed its recruiting goals by 10% or so and has a serious retention problem due to the favoritism shown to women, the military's prestige and respect has gone down greatly, affirmative action results in promotions by checklists, and I suspect our enemies see this as another sign of our weakness.
