Why go to war when you don't have any ammo ? ...

This has bugged me from the word go. Ukraine has no
facilities for producing any kind of war material so depends
entirely on other countries to keep them supplied. But
barrel bottoms are being scraped and the US, their chief
supplier has ceased supplying 155mm shells because Biden
considers allowing untold thousands of illegals to cross our
border far more important. So Ukraine who should have
made some sort of peace agreement in the first place is
hoping others will step into the breach. However Poland
and others are more intent on stocking up for themselves
in readiness for an imagined attack by Putin.
It was obvious from the beginning that Russia would win.
Merely a question of time. Now with wars brewing in the
Mideast and elsewhere it looks like Ukraine has become
the back-burner war.

Well, I know there's a little more to the story but the Ukraine didn't go to war. Russia came to the Ukraine but they could have prepared themselves better knowing this day would come especially after Russia re-took Georgia. Instead, they lived in a world of corruption instead of trying to become a better country and possibly becoming a member of NATO.

As said before, now that Russia/Ukraine has dried up the Western countries defense supplies we need to go to a WW2 mode of switching all manufacturing over to making ammo and weapons.

NATO was the reason;
If Ukraine had been accepted into NATO,
Putin could not attack. But if he attacked before that happened,
NATO could not attack.
