    Animal cruelty pisses me off!

There is a house in the county that is occupied by a single old fart and is full of garbage and trash. I go by this place almost every day. For the past year he had 5 dogs, no collars or tags and running loose.

I have seen those dogs over a mile away from hos house. 4 of the dogs are 30-35 lb short haired adults that chase cars. The fifth is a female Pit Bull, again running loose.

I drove by on Saturday and he no longer only has 4-5 dogs. Add 10 pretty puppies!!! They were happily playing in the ditch 3 feet from the 55MPH highway.

Multiple calls to police, and animal control folks reveals they don't GAS.

Technically, he may not be breaking any laws for them to act upon.

Here, we have leash laws for dogs. They have to be kept within a fenced yard, in the house, or on a leash. This law in not enforced at all here but may be the only thing this guy could be cited for.

County operated shelters are a waste of tax payers $ and provide their own cruelty to animals. I had a big stray dog show up on my carport once. It acted strange and I didn't want it near my cats nor us. It wouldn't leave even though I didn't feed it and kept the gate open where it could leave. I called the county shelter. The dog left after a couple of days on its own after I called them. They showed up one week later unannounced.

In my small community, we have leash laws which are for cats as well as dogs. Except there is NO enforcement with cats running around every where. Cats kill birds, rabbits and anything they can catch. If a cat comes on my property they get a pellet in the a$$!
