It doesn't. They all deserve protection, otherwise we end up with a Putin type election. I think Trump and some of his family got protection when He was running.

On a side note though I always wondered if the SS would betray Trump and let him be killed due to all the gov't corruption we have now.

What I want to know is why the hell is Biden's crackhead son being provided Secret Service protection. Seems to me the sheithead should have forfeited any entitlement upon being thrown out of the Navy for drug abuse and bringing shame upon the uniformed services. And then there's the Hildabitch and her Benghazi fiasco which resulted in the death of four Americans.
