Here is another reason I despise city and county cops

I had a run in with this cop. He followed me for 10 minutes and several miles. He stopped me and I gave him my drivers license, insurance cards, and registeration paper works.

I asked him why he stopped me. He did not answer that question. Then Another county officer arrived and blocked my car in front. Thirty minutes later he came to my car and and handed me a warning ticket for going 57 in a 55 mph zone and handed my paper works back.

I did not look at them until I got home and noticed my drivers license was not there. I had to go back to the license office and stand in line for a hour to get a replacement DL!

My wife had a similar experience. A patrol car followed her for for quite awhile before pulling her over. Made her nervous as all get out cause she knew she wasn't speeding or did anything wrong. Turned out she failed to use signal before she turned! Me thinks he just wanted to look at her Corvette!

A lot of Corvette's on the road are stolen. You can bet while he was following her he had called in her/your tag number. Pulling her over was probably to verify that the driver matched the owner. Not giving a signal was to have a probable cause in pulling her over in case she decided to take it to court. Just my 2 cents though. Hopefully she wasn't ticketed for this.
