I am beginning to wonder if it would be worthwhile that the left goes their way and the right another. Splitting like Czech's did in the last century. I am so sick and tired of how my country is going and I do not see it ending peaceful otherwise.

I remember reading that the South tried that about 160 years ago.

The problem is keeping those out that don't mix well, not only in countries but in politics.

Look at not only the border problems but American citizens who helped destroy CA, NY, WA and many other states now migrating to civilized GOP states such as TX and FL.

Historically this is the calm before the storm and I hope not a violent storm. My Dad bought a series of book from Time-Life which were reprints of books written after the War of the Rebellion. The book was written by a transplanted Englishman living in New Orleans and how the south tried to avoid war to no good. I see strong parallels now and it is appalling. Duct tape and good intentions cannot patch up Uncle Sam.

We have open primaries, 'unaffiliated' can vote in one or the other. Election judge said many GOP ballots only voted for one candidate out of the entire field-the RINO.
Dems switch to 'un' and then go back so they can participate in party events.
