    Upcoming Civil War

I'm speaking of the over reach of the federal judges.

During Trumps first term nearly everything he tried to pass was blocked by federal judges. In many cases just one and like I've mentioned here numerous times "if a single judge can block the actions of a president we don't need a president". "A president isn't doing us any good".

Long ago I read where obama had appointed over 4,000 federal judges. This would have been in addition to the judges already in place. This was no doubt put in place in case a GOP president should ever take office again. That is what we are seeing now. They are trying to rid Trump of all his authority.

I can see a group of select judges having a "say" over the actions of a sitting president in case we end up with another "Loon" like the one we just got rid of and sometimes a well meaning prez may go overboard, but never should a single judge have authority over the president.

Currently those judges who stayed quiet during the past administration are coming out of the woodwork to oppose Trump on deportation, spending cuts, queer funding, aid to illegals, and most all other liberal generated programs that THEY were a part of. Trump is ignoring them but everything is coming to a head and it should. This chit needs to be settled once and for all.

I can see maters going to the supreme court very soon.

Wish Vern was still active here. He perhaps could elaborate more since he had some background in politics.

not civil war, as least not like most think, but will be a battle of the wits, as in the wits of those that are interpreting the law, and trying to twist it this way and that

I understand that the American system of government was designed with three equal elements (legislature, executive and judiciary) to ensure that no one element got carried away with insane use of power. My sense as a non-American is that it is the executive that is currently getting carried away with its power and needs to be brought under control. It seems to me that having a non-elected billionaire destroying government agencies that protect the public (including from that billionaire's company) is just the sort of thing that the judiciary is supposed to counter-act. (As an aside, I am wintering in Florida and have been following this all from here)

All presidents appoint certain cabinet members. Not everyone is elected including the thousands upon thousands of federal judges. Many, and from what I gather and read is "most" of us like what the non-elected millionaire is doing. He has been instructed by Trump to find and clean up fraudulent, wasteful programs and aid that provide laundered money and votes for the democrats. They, of course, are the ones whining, along with THEIR news medias. America has got to stop supporting the whole world.

As far as the legislative and judiciary members go, fine, if a number of them oppose something they should have a say. Perhaps impose a temporary block to sort things out or to bring up certain side affects of a presidents actions but what I read is ONE of any federal (non-elected) judge has the assumed power to block a president. They can be from any state and not a member of any established system.

This is something the American people voted for and many greatly appreciate. Too far out of kilter and now the mule turns back to the correct path.
