Sometimes you need to keep your mouth shut.
Anyway, remember when you were a kid and some old guy would pounce on you for something? Like most of us I would get my back up and stew about it afterwards. Now, thirty, forty years later, I see the reason.
I remember one Saturday morning for some reason I couldn't find my issued belt. I decided to wear a civilian belt with my dungerees to mess. I got caught and got sent away. I was bitching about it at the check out, at the commissary. One lady, took my side; and the old battleaxe(maybe thirty, who was dependent,seemed older at the time) said, "they know the rules". Pissed me off. Now, I'd like to shake her hand.
