      USN 1961-1967
Basic at Great Lakes Training Center
Naval Security Group R Branch School in Pensacola, FL
Naval Communications Station NHY, Morocco (The voice of the Med)
NSG temporary duty aboard the USS Enterprise CVN 65 in the Mediterranean
NSG temporary duty aboard the USS Saratoga CVA 60 in the Mediteranian
NSG temporary duty aboard the USS Shangri La CVA 38 in the Mediteranian
      Discharged CT2
The Enterprise was the queen of the fleet in the 1960s. The Navy loved to run her around the Med during those Cold War years. The connections I made while serving 2 years reserve duty paved the way for a 34 year career with GE. I saw more naval power and ports of call than most sailors but was probably too young at the time to really appreciate it.
