Vietnam "Red Cross girls"

When I was in 'Nam, Red Cross girls would come along now and then to entertain the troops. They would try and get the guys interested in kid games like pin the tail on the donkey and other crap. Of course, all the troops wanted was to see American 'round eyes' women. Lots a verbal abuse was thrown at the girls but they took it in stride.
Do you have any memories of such visits?

I hauled them all over "I" Corps off and on for a year. Just average round-eyes wanting to see the world. We called them "Donut Dollies" Regards, Clark
