Springfield 1922 M2

Hi, I have a rifle that intermittently does not fire. I was going to change out the main spring in the bolt. Numerich Gun Parts list the M1 and M2 spring as the same. I looked in the training manual and I think they are different. Anyone know ? Thanks, regards, Mike

One of the changes from 1922M1 to M2 was changing the firing pin spring. The M2 uses the same spring as the 1903. See page 296 in The Springfield Rifles by Brophy.
