Ordnance marking on Remington 513T?

Bought this Remington 513T US Property marked .22 rifle and was surprised to find out it has an Ordnance marking on the stock. I have two more of them already, but neither of those two bear this marking. Why did they put the marking on this rifle and what is the meaning of it?

I have a couple as well, and neither have that mark,
I also have a handful of stocks, but not sure if they have the ord wheel on them or not,

likely done at a depot, school, or who knows where, ????

I have an ordnance marked one as well. They were military training rifles procured during WW2.
