Very nice piece of wood you have there. Shame they couldn't have designed a stock that didn't feel like a 2X4". Also, a shame that no after-market stocks seem to be available for the Model 12's. Aside from the stock, the rest of the rifle is pretty amazing. I managed some pretty small groups with my Model 12.

great rifles, but not much success on the commercial market I guess
so not much in the way of aftermarket stuff,

guess Winchester and Remington had the US made market sewn up, and Anschutz was dominating when the H&R came out wasn't it?
