Browning Medalist

Bought this Browning from a dealer at a gun show in Early 80's SN 39909Txx. Barell length 6 inches. Does not have the wooden forearm under the barrel . Adj. trigger.Can anyone give me the approx. date of manfacture. On right side of barrel it states Made in Belgium.. Thanks in advance for any info.

The two "X's" you wouldn't post is the date. 39909 is the SN. The "T" is the code for .22LR caliber.

Thanks "EMRI". Found an old Gun Digest and it sez they were made from 1970 to 1973. My last two digits are 71. So--- question answered. Again thanks for the lead.
