    Browning 1911 .22LR

Thinking of picking up a pair of these for the grandsons. Same features as the original M1911. 85% of the size of the original. Weight is 1 pound as the slide is made of aluminum. Anyone had any experience with this?

    TIA

They were hot items when first announced and we had a waiting list for them. The fire seems to have died down after they became more available. The last one we had actually sat in the showcase for 3 weeks before it sold. They do appear to be well made pistols and look very nicely finished. No one has brought theirs back complaining of any problems so they either aren't shooting them or they don't have any problems.

I have one, we love it. Never had a problem with it and it shoots every kind of ammo we've fed it. Sights are a little small for my old eyes but some white nail polish on the front sight helps. My girlfriend calls it "her pistol" now. I've had several kids shoot it, good gun for them as the slide is easy to pull and the magazine is easy to load.

Get her one, too. No reason her kids should have all the fun.
