    My wife's short arms

We have an Appleseed shoot coming up next month and when I introduced her to the 10/22 she would be shooting, we discovered she has short little arms and even with the rifle across her body her eyes are a good 6-8 inches from the scope. So does anyone have any cheapish drop in stock or rifle to obtain ideas?

You might think about a AR type rifle with a adjustable stock in .22LR or just go and but a AR15 in .223.

I was kind of thinking the Mossburg tactical. Yeah I know the reviews, but she is only shooting it every blue moon and I have heard it holds up fine as long as the user remembers it isnt a hard core tactical rifle. I already checked on my AR and it does fit her. Besides maybe she will get a confidence boost from using an "evil" black rifle.

My grand daughter just started shooting my retro AR15. Now she wants it!

You could do what I did for my niece which is cut the stock to match her length of pull.

Used stocks are easy to find at gun shows and cheap. Frequently seen on bargain tables at local gun shops. Grab your hand saw.
