My three favorite single shot rifles

My photo shows three of my single shot rifles

    1) Ruger No 3 that I had re-barreled to 308 Win, got the birds-eye maple from
a gunsmith in Colo, installed a Canjar set trigger

    2) Winchester hi wall came from Michigan, has late coil spring hammer, double set
triggers are original Winchester. The 32-40 barrel is B. Darr, have to breech seat bullet
made from special Hoch nose pour mold.

    3) Ye Old Hunter south American 43 cal rolling block that my father bought for $9.95.

Install heavy 22 rim fire liner, bent lower tang, used Calif walnut to make the stock &
fore arm. Made my own trigger and sear which is alot better. Case colored in So DakDSCN2339.jpg

          Lyman 438 scope

On my Remington rolling block conversion to 22 rim fire, I used an old Lyman 438 scope (4X)
with a Unertl de-horned rear mount for windafe and elevation. i had to made the tapered scope
block for the rear to follower the barrel contour P1010035_0035_035.jpgP1010043_0039_039.jpgP1010042_0038_038.jpg
