Shot some ELEY Semi-Auto benchrest 22lr ammo.

Shot some ELEY Semi-Auto benchrest 40 gn 22 lr ammo today today in both my 10-22 and Bolt action CZ-457 VPR 16" barrel with Sightron 4-50x60mm scope. Photo is of 50 yd 10rnd group, my best for the day with my CZ-457. Just installed a Timney trigger and adjusted to just under 10 oz. Black aiming dot is 1/4". A little less expensive than tenex, but not bad off a bipod and bunny bag.

    Whatta Hobby!

That's "Minute Of Chipmunk," right there! I enjoy your M14/M1A - related posts, but this small bore subject matter surprised me. But it is equally as interesting.

Done a lot of different things over the years from BP to Krags,1911s, 03s, A3s, 1917s, M1s, Carbines and a ton of other bolt rifles. The M14 just happens to be one I chose to prove some wrong when it was stated the M14 can not be precision. Well with some in the 1/2 moa range , that just ain't so. Whatta Hobby!
