CZ-457 VPT with new Lilja barrel.

Picked up this CZ-457 VPT last year and have been enjoying it since. Just for the halibut I just installed a Lilja .900x21 stainless barrel and am trying decide whether I like it better than the stock 16.5" barrel it came with. Jury is out.

Target was done as a test with Eley Tenex and Lapua Midas M. The barrel seems to shoot both equally well which is a good indicator. Fired at 50 yds using an S-7 bipod and a rear bunny bag.

That is some fine shooting. Like I said on your previous post, CZ makes some fine rifles.

Yes they do. Enjoying every minute of range time no matter what the choice of firearm is. Whatta Hobby!

Shot a little practice session this morning getting ready for a 10 dot 1/2" rimfire challenge at 50 yds. 10 rnds off bipod using a CZ-457 with Lilja 20" .90 barrel and bunny bag with a max spread of .4". I'll take it. Not a benchrest type guy, but I do have plenty of fun for a 75 year old kid. Whatta Hobby!

Shot a five targets this morning at 100 yds. Couldn't resist a chance with no wind in Mark's Hollow. Rifle is a CZ-457 with Timney 10 0z trigger, Lilja 20" SS barrel,single load adapter, S-7 bipod and Sightron SIIISS 10-50x60mm. She prefers the X-ACT at 100 yds even though it's a little slower. Whatta Hobby!
