H&R Sportsman .22 cal 9 shot double action revolver ?'s

Just picked this up at a show today. I cannot find any referance to it (that fits) in the Blue Book. I would like to know the year of manufacture. Serial #143, no prefix No. It is a double action 9 shot revolver w/ajustable sights., see pics. Thanks for any help.

    H&R Sportsman

Found mine about twenty years ago, it is marked H&R SPORTSMAN and under that-- single action--number S 13209. I was told my is from 1935 ? The early feature is the pin on the left side which will release the cylinder when you press it. Also there is a screw in the front sight which will adjust the height.

The later H&R Sportsman discontinued the cylinder release pin

There is no pin in the front sight. The front sight appears to be press fit into a slot (keyway).
One notable differance is the shape of the barrel (see pic). Any idea when that change was made?
