    ithaca 10ga chamber, 1923

I think this 10ga dbl built in 1923 has 2and7/8 chanbers, does this mean that it is for brass shells and paper roll crimp?
    thanks

It means it's for 2 7/8th shells which to my knowledge aren't available loaded today.Brass paper or plastic shouldn't make any difference. It would be a hand loading proposition.Brass 2 7/8 the are available at around $7+ per.Or cut down plastic hulls.

Not that hard. They're out of stock right at the moment , but you can see when they expect more and / or if they have any once fired hulls ( they personaly test every lot they bring in ) .

Good to know someone is marketing 2 7/8 shells again.Lot of old steel barreled doubles out there in that chambering if you don't want to hand load.
