Parts for an old Mossberg 22

A friend at work handed me a beat up Mossberg 22 autoloader. It belonged to his grand dad and was used as a utility gun around the farm. The family wants it restored to it's former glory. The rifle is missing the trigger group as well as the tubular feed tube and spring. Does anybody know of a source, other than the obvious (Sarco, Numrich, etc) that carries parts for old Mossbergs? My first step will be to clean the barrel to see if it is usable without relining. Thanks, and Regards, Clark

What model Mossberg is it, they made several '22 auto loaders'. The older the model the more difficult to find parts. As Moss. rifles are getting to be very collectable parts are drying up. You may have to buy a junk rifle for parts, altho that sounds like what you already have. Try vic@havlinsales.com or 636-937-6401. Lee's Gun Parts, 972-790-0773, Tue.-Thurs. Traders Den, 218-666-5083

Thanks, I had not thought of Lee's. This rifle is a 351KB. I would guess that someone tried to render it unable to fire at some time. The barrel looks to be in excellent condition, so I will try to find the parts. Thanks for your help. Regards, Clark

I've had good luck finding old gun parts on Ebay when all other sources came up dry.
        I collect expensive hobbies.

The 351 is a late manufactured gun, late 50's and 60's, so parts would be easy to find, I would think. As far as bore is concerned, the only one you have to worry about are the pre-1932 or so guns, corrosive ammo was used. Other wise its almost impossible to ware one out.
