    What Are These Guys Shooting?

Not sure of the date or place but I suspect it shows men in Great Britain during WW2 practicing (without ammo). I don't recognize the actions on these rifles as I am not expert on foreign guns. They sort of look like the old Martinis in .22. Can anyone ID these guns and provide any more context? Maybe these guys are just hunting pigeons!

    Regards,
    Charlie

BSA made very nice .22 target rifles on Martinis.
