small collection of the Mark 1*** rifles

I found a few over the years and must admit a few were under $100, one was sporterized but at the time
I was able toe locate a fore-end with volley sight and Sprinfield Sporters had the early nose caps. Not much
around anymore even the sporters are $450 now. Replacement wood and parts very difficult to find.

    Top to bottom

    BSA 1906 Mark 1 ***
    Enfield 1907 ConD II*

I fell into one a couple years back, No.1***, BSA, dated 1906. Missing safety assembly, rear volley sight, forestock shortened, forward upper handguard missing. I removed the charging 'shuttle' from the bolt face. Mine also had the original serial number crossed out, and a new serial applied. No import marks. IIRC, I gave 'em $75 for the thing.
