My old SHTL.E. No.1***

I thought you guys might like to see my SHTL.E. No.1***.I gave a friend of mine $135 for it a year ago(I told him it was worth more but that's all he wanted). From what I understand it was sold to the Irish Navy, hence the CR prefix. I have since cleaned it up and it looks very nice. The bore is still strong though dark. The two upgrades I can see are the brass butt plate and the rear sight protector. It is missing the cutoff and I'm not sure why because I don't know a lot about the Enfields.I think it's a neat rifle. If my facts are incorrect or you guys can tell me a little more about it, I would like to hear from you.

Mark 1 ***

Mine is a Enfield 1904 Mark 1*** and now has its third serial number ! which is G839 (bolt is G837). Believe mine was a grenade wire wrapped rifle and converted back to standard issue
