There is a guy in Carson City NV that makes something very close to this. The barrel is an integral part of the silencer. Is chambered in .45 Colt. My cousin is a class 3 dealer.Fred Pillot

Do you recall a long while back a couple of kit builders comparing notes? Both had feed issues. Helpful insight but terrible as sales hype.
Have you a leaning towards one kit over another? Is there even a choice anymore?
Now there is another issue to contend with. Back then a donor rifle only cost $69 to $89.2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!

never read much good about any of the kits,
at the time I was contemplating it , I was in a machine shop class (back in the 90's,) and was going to use a donor as and free hand one, so to speak,
every now and again I get the same itch, but it goes away quickly,
I've seen a couple or real deal models thru the years, but never had the chance to shoot one,
would be easy to do the barreled receiver, the 1911 mag part seems to me to be the hardest part,
now you got me thinking again,, I have a sported No1 Mk 111 in inventory,,,, and a mill and lathe,
plenty of 1911 mags,,,

Dummy receiver with surplus parts? Thought about buying one twice or thrice. Perfect way to display an Admiralty Contract 1907. The place I had in mind for it is currently occupied with framed Mickey Mantle baseball cards. Tough decision....2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!
