Lithgow SMLE & Pat 07 bayonet, scabbard & frog.

    Finally completed the set.
A very nice (not a JJ&Co build), Lithgow 1941 SMLE with all matching numbers.
I added the "Central #4" target sight, It seemed fitting to have an Aussie sight on an Aussie rifle!

& a very nice condition Lithgow Pat'07 with its matching "Mangrovite" scabbard. They're not matched to the rifle though, just each other.

Very nice. Appears to have come straight from the factory in these photos.

The sight is one of the indigenous Australian designs for target/match shooting.

I was trying, but for some reason this site is a bear to post images to.
This one shows the mount plate, & the "cam lok" fixing bolt.
I've upgraded the 6-hole Parker-Hale eyepiece to a "Gehmann" with built in eyesight (dioptric) correction & an actual Iris.
