    Enfield No5 Scabbard

The wife has me clearing out the junk room and I ran across a nice No.5 scabbard I forgot I had. I sold most of my British stuff long ago to add to my US stuff. This is a nice scabbard, but stiff from age. Also has the cleaning equipment in the metal box in the pouch. Just wondering what something like that is worth today. I have been out of the loop since the 90's. (Come to think of it, I might still have the No. 5 in the back of the safe.) No. 5 Scabbard.jpgone.jpgthree.jpgfour.jpg
[W]e made a great mistake in the beginning of our struggle, and I fear, in spite of all we can do, it will prove to be a fatal mistake. We appointed all our worst generals to command our armies, and all our best generals to edit the newspapers. Gen. Robert Edward Lee CSA

Just a note. The wire mesh was used to clean a badly fouled barrel. DO NOT USE IT!
    Pull through has three loops.
    1.for a patch
    2. for the wire mesh
    3. used by the armourer to pull out the cord if you get it stuck!
