Thinking that installing the Numrich #1mk3 .22 conversion unit would be a simple matter of head spacing, the bolt will not even close on the insert. So, I have no idea of where to start. Anyone tried one of these?

Enfields are not all the same. Had to try my conversion kit in 3 different rifles before I found that it would work in. On one rifle, the problem was the extractor cut out. Had to open it up a bit to enable the conversion kit extractor to fit properly. -
The extractor cut out is fine. I don't know if the liner is not going deep enough or the face of the liner is too long. Do not want to start removing metal until I know. I will try it on my 1939 BSA.Comment
