    No4T sniper

Bought this a few years back. It had hung on the dealers wall for a year and I couldn't take it anymore. We made a deal and he said " I'll get the box" and around the corner he came with the transit box, I was beyond happy!

It is all matching -- rifle matches, mount to rifle, scope to rifle.

    I didn't know I HAD Barracks!

It appears to have that odd "crinkly" finish on the receiver that shows up on late No4 Mk1(T) build. I used to think it wasn't original, but Brian Dick says different!

Its really unusual to see intact markings on the crate, they're almost always painted over!

I think they call the crinkly finish suncordite

or something like that. It is a 1945 rifle.

Suncorite. Not quite the same look, Suncorite is just a matte black. Regardless, it's right for your rifle as orginally converted at H&H. Only the later ones have this finish and its just around the receiver area, from the examples I've seen.
