    M1C scope mounting?

    Looking for a gunsmith to do an M1C(scope mount) for a replicia. Any leads appreciated. AGB-1

      Griffin and Howe originally produced the mounts and rings for the military And did the work. They still produce the mounts and install.
      They also sell the mounts, hardware and instructions on how to properly do the work.
      Kind of expensive.

      There is a thread here somewhere with a manufacuturer of a reputed to be good reproduction.
      Who probably also gives instructions on how to mount their product.

          Does your reciever have the screw and pin holes already drilled or not ? Being able to locate these holes precisely would narrow your choices of smiths , I would think.
