24 inch Rem var contour, .830" at the muzzle (flat crown), 1.25"@ breach (1 - 10 twist).

krieger's remington varmint barrel is a match: https://kriegerbarrels.com/contours#sptr
    Shilen's #17 rem varmint is close: http://www.shilen.com/contours.html

It's just a heavy varmint/match barrel, as I recall. Nearly(if not all) every barrel maker makes one. I think the Douglas Rem Mag Sporter 005 at $314.00 ready to install is what you're looking for.
DropCatch.com helps you secure expiring domain names.

Then you get to argue about who's barrel is best. snicker.
        Spelling and grammar count!

Bartlein makes a purpose built replica copied from one of Badger Ords originals.

I have a 700 vs on the way to make a fake m40, will be using a Taylor stock. Will try to get the rest of the real parts to make it look right but still a repo.
Mr pmclaine, looked a Bartlein but 5 to 6 mo is to long for me to wait , thanks .

If you need someone for machining the receiver cuts Mark at Raven Rifles, Pulaski VA knows what to do.

He built this USMC inspired rifle for me and I couldn't be happier...
