Is a Cheek Pad on 1903A4 CMP Legal?

Can I use a lace on cheek pad on a 1903A4 clone for the CMP Sniper Match Game? Ed

No. They are only legal on the Garand.

While we are on the cheek pad subject , just how does a left handed cheek pad work on a M1C or D ? I see them advertised , but would they not make the problem worse ?

The rule is that the cheek rest whether wood, leather or other material must have been an issue item on the original rifle. Over in the CMP forum some competitors claimed to have used improvised pads (folded handkerchiefs and the like) in last years match.
