anybody got a photo of a unertl scope case?

...that shows the stencil clearly? also, a shot that shows what it looks like inside would be appreciated if possible. did the cap screw on?
i'm working on building a replica.

As an aside, maybe it was just mine, but the spring in the bottom required you to screw in the eyepiece and shorten the scope to prevent cracking the top when closing. That screws up your setting and may explain why these cans were not all that used.

gonna try to find two cylinders of diameters that each end of the scope will fit in and glue/mount these to each end (one end is the cap) of the case. should hold the scope stationary well enough in the case.

its not gonna be a totally accurate replica.... just close enough.

does yours have a stencil on it?
