    Thanks MJ1!

    It is comforting to find out that I am not the only eccentric OF that uses a Scout Regiment telescope for spotting when he takes his "T" to the range for exercise.

    The other shooters always shake their heads and smile, but I know that they are just jealous.

        I believe it was Skennerton that said the Savage rifles were not fitted with scopes. Is that correct, or has it been proven wrong?

            Was that yes or no? I had a like new Savage that was set up as a (T), but no scope number on the wrist. Does that one have the scope number?

              There are no tells on either rifle other than [S] and both have five groove barrels. Of the ten T rifles I have the Savage rifles are the best shooters.
