Does anyone have any information on the Argentine '09/73 sniper rifle? The only information that I've found are a few pictures in Colin Webster's book on Argentine Mausers.
I recently purchased a drilled and tapped '09 Argentine Mauser that looks similar to the '09/73 sniper rifle, but is different in some respects from the pictures in Webster's book.
The 09/73 in Webster's book appears to have higher Weaver mounts and a somewhat different turn down on the bolt. This one is almost certainly just a very nice, all matching, sported '09 Modelo in excellent condition and was priced as such. It did spark my interest in the '09/73 Argentine sniper rifle, however.
