Looking for info. on current issue British sniper spotting scope M49 modified maybe??

I have an M49 made in England and marked M49 but it is modified slightly it has a sliding sunshade and a rubber eye guard an the rear cover has a lanyard there is no fron cover and it has a red screw on the prism housing to dehydrate it I guess. What does the British Army use in the last 10 or so years.
