how do you know if DCM paper work is real ?

Is there a website that can help authenticate DCM paper work ? What to look for etc

CMP has old records from which it's possible to reconstruct very many but not all DCM rifle sales. Normally they charge $25 to take a look and send an authentication letter if the record supports it. If you just have what looks like the old front/back DCM bill of sale form, scan it in high rez and send it up, somebody here will spot it if it's a phony and be able to tell you why.
