m1D with interesting modification at rear sight.

picked up this m1D a bit ago and noticed the rear sight ear is shaved clean off. real cool, I never seen this before...

Did you mean the left ear of the rear sight? In Missouri, the shaved ear is on the Left side (scope side)..........grins........ I'd never seen one like that either....... how does she shoot?

What about the NM aperture that is not std. equipment on a M1D either.
Looks like Bubba was playing a little bit with this one no real harm done (bless his heart)
