M84 Scope Value

I bought an M84 scope about 40 years ago that had the original government part number stuck on the tube. It appears to be a yellowed, cellophane sticker. I assume the scope was never placed on a rifle. The scope is about mint original with clear optics. I have seen values in the $800 to $1000 being asked for typical M84 scopes, but what would be a reasonable value "range" for my scope?

The last two I sold, I got $900 for and they were about mint. You might get a little off fleabay, but you would lose the normal 13% with fees.

There are minty ones on Ebay with asking prices in the $1900 range. Ones with normal wear and tear seem to be $1000 and up. Are you selling yours or keeping it?

I let one go for 650 a couple of years ago. No where near mint and had a problem or two besides.

Thanks for all the replies to my question on the value of my M84 scope. I may need to trade it for something I've wanted for years and needed a range of values to make a fair offer.
