Rock Ridge Machine Marine M1941 Sniper Scope Rebuild

A couple of years ago when the Malcom Marine Sniper came out I bought #250 and assembled a nice M1941 clone. I shot it once and noticed the screws bending so I stopped. I finally retired and made a trip up to Rock Ridge Machine in Ephrata, PA where they rebuilt my scope while I waited (several hours). They were great hosts, the rebuild was relatively inexpensive, and I've shot the rifle twice since and it's grouping 2" @ 100 yds with HXP-77 (see picture). Can't wait to work up some handloads.

derned pretty 1903 rifle Floyd........Wondering if she's shooting that nice, how would she group with good hand loads tuned to it? & if one of the derned good riflemen was shooting them........ if it wouldn't be sub 1 minute groups.........

Congrats on your dad being alive to be in that pix............ by chance is that the same Krag that the child is holding in the earlier pix? & Who is the kid? Your dad, or you?

Hi Gimp - I'm going to dust off the reloading gear and work on some 30-06 as a priority. Its funny, I worked forever, retired, and now I can't imagine how I ever had time for work before! Yes, both pictures are my Dad, the early one was Decoration Day in 1932 when my Grandpa was the local Legion Post Commander, the Honor Guard posed my Dad with the Krag. The more recent shot of my Dad was with my Krag (a different one). After Dad came across that photo, I couldn't resist posing him with another Krag.
      All the best,
      Floyd
