    Historical M24 Photos

    A friend of mine who is a firearm historian has access to some unpublished photographic archives. He emailed these photos to me, the were taken during a military visit to the Remington plant in October of 1987. The rifle is an M24.

    Neat photos. The top and bottom pics are reversed, though, the badges are on the wrong side.

      I noticed 3 gents in flight jumpers???? Air Force or Army Avation??

        I'm thinking Army. I've never seen a patch like the one the grey haired pilot is wearing on an Air Force uniform...

          They are Air Force, the Army never had shinny Nomex jackets back then, these are CWP-36 jackets, AF issue.

            They are Army Aviation, TDA flight unit I was in Fort Benning between 83 - 86 issued those to some of the fixed wing crew.
