Anyone have info on the AR 30 308cal. I've looked a lot on the web and learned some. I am thinking of getting it for $1450. The reason for the 308cal is that, 1) the gun club's practical rifle competition has been getting a lot of holes shot up through their steel. 2). the other calibers are too expensive and 3). I have a boat load of 308. My hesitation is that I already have a very nice M14 with a Menace scope (that's 20 rounds vs. 5 or maybe a slow 10 rounds) when shooting for time.
