    M1D op rod

    I have had a 1984 DCM sales M1D with shipping papers for 15 years. The odd thing that has always made me wonder is why does it have a new SA 9 op rod in it that is un-cut? Why wasen't a modified rod used in rebuild? Any thoughts?

      Probably because that's what was on top of the pile in the parts bin, Or what was left in the bottom of the bin
