Recent sales - M1C mounts and M82 Scopes

It's interesting to watch the auctions these days. The M1C mounts and M82 scopes are bringing good money.

This one sold for a buy it now of $3750. It has sold 3 times in the past few weeks.

This one sold for a buy it now of $1850 which was the better of the two and probably sold too low, in my opinion.

    Anyone else have any benchmarks?

Ouch! I heard it was also sold to a guy at the Chantilly gun show last week for a lot less.

Interesting story and lesson learned again thanks for posting. I have been fortunate in my collecting days so it all works it self out I think.

It's a $$$ frenzy. Seems everybody wants to shoot the vintage sniper match at Perry with a U.S. rifle, which necessitates finding the "legal" base, rings, and optical sight.
